Welcome to the St. Joseph County Parks Foundation website!
	Established in 1989, the St. Joseph County Parks Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization with the sole purpose of assisting the St. Joseph County Park Board in the acquisition and preservation of park land and facilities in St. Joseph County, Indiana. Through donations, we are able to properly care for and enhance the investment in our County parks. Our recent successes include ... 2002 Establishment of the Freedom Memorial: "Standing Tall" at the entrance to St. Patrick's County Park, dedicated on September 11, 2003. 2001 Grant from the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County for Bendix Woods playground equipment (completed in 2002) with matching funds from the St. Joe County Parks Foundation. 1999 Construction of the Colten Shelter at St. Patrick's County Park. 1997 Restoration of the Manion Log Cabin at St. Patrick's County Park. St. Joseph County Parks Foundation sponsored a special event on Thursday, September 11, 2003, at 10:00 a.m.. We were proud to dedicate our Community's Freedom Memorial: "Standing Tall" that remembers those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 when America was attacked.
