of Mishawaka passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2007, in Saint Joseph Regional
Medical Center, South Bend. Survivors include his wife and fellow
classmate, Sharon Sue (Ritter); four children; Mark (Julie) Modlin of Mishawaka,
David (Christine) Modlin of Mishawaka, Paul (Patrice) Modlin of Wakarusa and
Marjorie (Steve Shively) Morgan of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren, one
great-grandchild and one great-grandchild one way. Services were held at
the Hahn Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 19th.
Burial at the Porter Rae Cemetery.

Center, South Bend. Survivors include her husband, John; their son,

two sisters, Margaret Austin, of Mishawaka and Virginia (Val Walters) Nawrocki-Walters
of South Bend; two brothers, Charles (Rose Marie) Wachs and John (Gail) Wachs;
along with many nieces, nephews and her special friends since high school,
"the bachelorettes" - Ronny Maggioli, Clara Kauffman, LaVonne
DiGirolomo, Barbara Albers, Sally Rieff, Carol Thompson, and Nancy Gruber.
A Mass of Christian Burial was
held on Thursday, January 5th in the St. Monica Catholic Church.
Burial followed at the Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.

Ill., formerly of Mishawaka, died Thursday (April 8, 2004) in her home.

and a brother, Santino Catalino. Services were held on Tuesday (April 13,2005)
in Sacred Heart Church, Palos Hills.

Mary K. (Smith) Kase's husband, Dale Kase, passed away suddenly on 10/21/2002. Dale was a 1954 graduate of MHS and subsequently graduated from IU Bloomington as a marketing major. He was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity Mary K. and Dale, high school sweethearts, were married in 1955. Services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2002 in St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mishawaka. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.

Sunday in Natchez Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife,

of Three Rivers; a brother, Tom of Mishawaka; a stepsister, Ann Metzner of
Mishawaka; and a stepbrother, Jim Friedman of Mishawaka. Services were
held in Laird Funeral Home, Natchez, on June 7, 2001.

Hahn passed away very unexpectedly on January 17, 1998 in St. Joseph's Community
Hospital, Mishawaka, as a result of a brain aneurysm. We had been high
school sweethearts who had gone our separate ways, but were reunited after
twenty years and married in July, 1978. Along with me (Nancy Sheffield
Hahn) he is survived by three sons, Michael of Mishawaka; Todd of Nappanee; Dan
of Montgomery Village, Maryland; two daughters, Dara of Miami Lakes, Florida;
Ryan Renee of Mishawaka, and thirteen grandchildren. Funeral services were
held on January 20, 1998 at the First United Methodist Church, Mishawaka,
Indiana."

Charlotte (Stratton) Kocsis passed away on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001 in the emergency room at Saint Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka. Charlotte's husband, Paul Louis Kocsis Jr., preceded her in death in 1995. Charlotte is survived by three daughters, Cathleen Snyder of Plymouth, IN, Paula (Joshua) Walker of Mishawaka and Sherry (Thomas) Krug of Ontario, CA. She is also survived by six grand-children. She had worked at Uniroyal in the accounting department, and for David Bent as a paralegal. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mishawaka. Jackie (Campbell) Jackson emailed on 12/24/00 that husband, Fred Jackson, passed away on Nov. 24, 2000. After just establishing contact with Jackie after so many years, we are saddened to have to report this news. Jackie has our deepest sympathy. John Hall,
passed away after an illness on Sunday, May 28, 2000 in Memorial Hospital, South
Bend. John is survived by his wife, Jody, of 40 years; two sons, John Jr.
of Mishawaka and Jeffrey of Granger; five grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn
Jankowski of Jupiter, FL; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; two aunts; two
nieces; seven nephews; along with several great-nieces and nephews and
cousins. John was presently employed by Daman Products for the past seven
years. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church,
Mishawaka.

Schmalkuche Sr. (64) passed away on May 18, 2000. He lived in
Argos, IN and was the former owner of Cookies Gas & Grocery in
Woodland. He is survived by one sone, Ronald, Jr. and two

"Sandy" (Memenga) Vandegrift passed away on March 10, 2000 in
Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland, FL. She was an accountant for
the City of Lakeland and a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. Sany is
survived by husband John, a son John of Atlanta, GA, and a daughter Julie of
Tampa, FL, two sisters; three grandsons; three nieces and a nephew.

Edmonds, Washington.

)Frederick) Huber passed away May 29, 1999 after an extended fight with
lung cancer at Mayo Clinic. Marilyn had been active in several previous
reunions and always looked forward to visiting with classmates. She is
survived by me, four children and eight grandchildren. Six weeks after her
death, our 16 yr. old granddaughter, Heather Hammer of South Bend, was killed in
an auto accident. We ask for continued prayers of the Class."
