Dear Mr. Chocola:

We hope that this letter finds you and your family well. We ask you to reconsider what you are doing and what the president is doing about the war in Iraq/Afghanistan.

We are now 32 months into the Iraq war. We have a President who lies and lies and lies…and everyday more die because of these lies. We, the American people, want him to resign from his job. We don't want him ignoring what we the people are telling him as part of "doing his job". He wanted Clinton out because he lied about his sexual activity. The lies Mr. Bush tells have far worse consequences for the American people. He shows no remorse, rather an increased belligerence against those who point out the lies.

He lies about the weapons of mass destruction. He lies about Saddam's intentions towards the US. He lies about the CIA-Plame-Cheney-Libby business. He lies about torture by US CIA and military agents. He says he is pro-life. He says that there is no reason good enough for a woman to justify donating an embryo or having an abortion. He then daily promotes the taking of life, most of it innocent. These lies have had devastating consequences for the country and the world both in acts of commission and of omission. You have supported him avidly through your career. We have now over 2075 US killed in Iraq and over 250 in Afghanistan. We have attached the list of the US dead from the past 8 days. As you may recall, we obtain these numbers from the website www.cnn.com/specials/2003/iraq. It is far too many.
