Dear Senator Bayh:
From his State of the Union address, it seems clear that Mr. Bush remains committed to his dangerous policies. These policies are harming the moral soul of our citizens by promoting pre-emptive killing and war mongering, driving the country into debt, and ignoring needed constructive work in our country.
The war on terrorism has failed to produce the desired results, i.e., to bring Bin Laden and his cronies to justice and to make our citizens more secure. Why should more than 2500 US soldiers die because our president is too lazy to bring bin Laden to justice through the criminal justice system? Why should more than 30,000 Iraqis die for the same reason?
We need new leadership and we are looking to Senators like you to bring about change.
Thank you.
