We are your constituents asking that that you do all in your power to accomplish the following:

• immediately end the bombing and destruction in Afghanistan and any planning for similar actions in other countries.
• immediately produce the evidence that is sufficient to indict Bin Laden and company in a court of law and then allow the establishment of a United Nations tribunal to conduct a trial.
• immediately end cooperation with any interim or permanent  government that does not respect the rights of  women .
• immediately add to the numbers of FBI  personnel investigating anthrax threats and other forms of terrorism against women’s medical clinics where birth control and abortion  are among the services  provided.
• immediately provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and  other poor countries of the world over and above that which was planned before the US attacked Afghanistan .
• immediately divert the money being used for weapons of destruction to machines of construction in our own country and in others -  if we are going to intervene everywhere, let us do it without weapons of war
• immediately end the permission for military tribunals with their loss of due process and indefinite detention.  Do not allow the infringement of  “habeas corpus.”

We are looking to you to end the madness of this revenge attack and return to seeking and acting in accordance with justice.
