Eduardo Bonnin, Founder of the Cursillo Movement, Passes Away
On 6 February 2008, at the age of 90, Eduardo Bonnín, one of the founders of the Cursillo Moverment and its method, and one of the laymen who gave himself wholly to the movement from its beginnings, died after a brief illness. The date of February 6 is providential for several reasons. It was Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, marking the road toward true freedom, and the 68th anniversary of a historic event in Eduardo’s life. Read the full article on his life.
Next Women's and next Men's 3-Day Cursillo Weekends:
The next English-speaking Women’s Cursillo weekend #64 has been re-scheduled for June 26-29, 2008 and the next English-speaking Men’s Cursillo weekend #82 has been re-scheduled for July 24-27, 2008, both weekends to be held at St. Patrick’s Parish Center in downtown South Bend, Indiana. Each Cursillo starts on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. and ends on Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m.
