AFP Michiana Chapter
2010 Salute to Philanthropy

Every fall the Association of Fundraising Professionals Michiana Chapter, in conjunction with National Philanthropy Day,  presents its annual "Salute to Philanthropy" awards. These awards recognize outstanding achievement in four categories:

Individuals and companies in Northern Indiana and Southwestern Michigan, whose voluntary contributions of time, talent, or treasure have made a significant difference in the quality of life throughout our region, are recognized.

Through these awards, participants are able to show appreciation for all that has been accomplished in the name of giving, as well as show that there is still more to do.  It's the nonprofit sector’s chance to step into the spotlight for a brief moment and remind our communities, our society and the world that the spirit of giving is alive and well.

If you would like to nominate an individual or organization for a "Salute to Philanthropy" award,  submit a Nomination Form. Nominations will be accepted from June 1 through October 1, 2010. (The nomination form may be saved to your computer and filled-in using Microsoft Word.) Click here for a list of  |past award recipients.

The honorees will receive their awards at the Salute to Philanthropy Awards luncheon on Tuesday, November 9, 2010.  This year's speaker will be Prof. William Doyle from the University of Notre Dame Development Office.  The location and program will be announced in the near future.
