The AFP Ethics Committee and the International Headquarters receive hundreds of questions each year concerning matters pertaining to the Code and Standards. Because of the essential nature of the Code and Standards to AFP's existence, and in view of the widespread acknowledgement in the charitable sector that the AFP Code and Standards guide the actions of numerous non-AFP organizations and individuals, consistency is crucial to maintenance of the Code and Standards.
